With all the looming issues of our day, many Christians have sought to bolster the idea that our kids, the next generation, will be able to fight and withstand what is coming their way. While this is often said with good-hearted intentions, it is not the reality we can simply expect. We should want our kids to embrace, or any generation for that matter, the place and time they find themselves. We should want them to face whatever comes their way with courage and vigor. But have forgotten to ask one vital question, "Have we prepared them to do so?" Before running into battle, we ought to step back and ask, "Are we even prepared to fight?"
